Seismic survey vessel underway on open ocean

Our 3D Seismic Vessel

MV Suyouhao

A medium-sized 3D seismic vessel configured to support offshore seismic acquisition and marine exploration operations.

Vessel overview

MV SUYOUHAO is owned by Inspiration Energy Limited and represents the company's core specialised asset. The vessel is configured for marine seismic acquisition support, with a 28-airgun array, nine airgun controls and two onboard compressors delivering a working pressure of 2,000 PSI / 138 bar.

At 476 GT and 46.8 m in length, the vessel is sized for shallow to medium water marine exploration work, with an endurance of 1,000 miles and twin Cummins KTA19-M main engines producing a total of 1,000 HP.

Inspiration Energy Limited provides the vessel, marine operations and offshore support scope. Seismic acquisition technology and data workflows are handled in conjunction with technical seismic partners.
